Cooperative Insurance Company (CIC ) 4th Annual General Meeting 2019
On 27th April 2019, the Cooperative Insurance Company CIC held its 4th Annual General Meeting at Grand Imperial Royal Kampala. CIC has been in operation since January 2015. The Company’s target market is the co-operative movement across the country that needs new and different financial products. CIC offers a wide range of insurance products to the co-operative movement in Uganda as well as the non-co-operative sector.
In his statement, the Chairman Mr. Nnume Yasin, applauded the Minister for Finance Planning and Economic Development Hon. Matia Kasija for his dedication and passion for the cooperative movement of Uganda. The chairman went on to add that CIC is the fastest growing insurance company as per Insurance Regulatory Authority results in 2018.
The Chairman CiC Group and International Cooperative Alliance President Africa, Mr. Japheth Magomere OGW, in his statement said: “As an insurance and financial investment provider we an important player in the cooperative sector and intend to continue the good work in building the cooperative Movement”.
